As we&#8217;ve been telling our supporters, <strong>Public Health is Invisible&#8230;. when it&#8217;s working<\/strong>. We don&#8217;t feel the effects of the public health system until we are confronted with a natural disaster, a pandemic, a toxic drug poisoning crisis, and the list goes on. <strong>This is why we&#8217;ve decided to participate, as a team, in this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/raceroster.com\/events\/2025\/94630\/2025-vancouver-half-marathon?aff=NXVYB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vancouver Half Marathon<\/a>: to shine the light on the importance of public health, and to raise money to help fund the public health initiatives that we <\/strong>know have a measurable impact on the lives of communities across our beautiful province.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fndry-paragraph fndry-text-intro18\"><strong>What is the Vancouver Half?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fndry-paragraph\">The Vancouver Half Marathon Charity Challenge is an annual event, taking place this year on June 22, that brings charitable organizations together to challenge each other to raise the most money for their respective causes! Our team goal is $3000, but we know, with the support of our donors, partners, and friends, we can surpass it! Participants can choose between the 21K, 5K, and Kids Race.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fndry-paragraph\"><strong>We would love to see our public health colleagues, partners, supporters, and friends join our team and help us raise money public health projects that are creating a healthier, safer, and more equitable future&nbsp;for all!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"fndry-paragraph\">If you want to join the run on June 22nd, <a href=\"https:\/\/raceroster.com\/events\/2025\/94630\/2025-vancouver-half-marathon?aff=NXVYB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>register<\/strong><\/a> on the race website and select Pacific Public Health Foundation as your charity challenge team. If you cannot join in person, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/raceroster.com\/events\/2025\/94630\/2025-vancouver-half-marathon\/fundraising-organization\/72452?aff=NXVYB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>make a donation<\/strong><\/a> to help us reach our goal. <strong>Our team has a goal of raising $3000, and we are almost halfway there!
