We are so very grateful to all of you who share our vision of a healthier, safer, and more equitable future for all. We want to thank you for your thoughtfulness because \u2014 when we recently asked you to consider a gift to our Foundation \u2014 you gave considerately, and you gave generously. That is what community is all about. Thanks to you, we can continue to improve the public health landscape in British Columbia.<\/p>\n\n

Because of your generous contributions, we are able to support some truly impressive projects that are focused on some of the biggest challenges we currently face in BC, including advancing equitable access to health and wellness across priority areas such as the toxic drug poisoning crisis<\/a>, climate change<\/a>, and Indigenous health initiatives<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

This is work that is crucial to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Your generosity is key to making that goal a reality \u2014 you empower us to reach into our communities to advance public health solutions. These solutions drive meaningful change that matters now, and will have a lasting impact for future generations.<\/p>\n\n

Now more than ever, the importance of a robust public health system is undeniable \u2014 from preventing diseases to promoting healthy lifestyles, or advancing innovative work that addresses the intersecting needs of populations \u2014 because public health matters to us all, touching every one of our lives, in every corner of our province.<\/p>\n\n

One of the most profound lessons we’ve learned through our journey is the power of working together. We believe that our collective strength is greater, and our potential for accomplishing more is amplified when we work together. Your contributions are a testament to that collective strength across our communities, demonstrating that when we come together with a shared purpose, we can achieve remarkable things.<\/p>\n\n

By raising awareness about preventive measures and healthy practices, we are increasing mindfulness about why public health matters. Taking a proactive approach not only helps in preventing diseases, but also fosters a culture of well-being that creates more resilient communities. Your generosity inspires us to continue to strive for a better future for us all, knowing that we have a network of dedicated supporters standing with us.<\/p>\n\n
